NTO is to supply counting equipment to a deposit factory.

When Dansk Retursystem's new factory in Fredericia is completed at the end of 2025, Danish bottles and cans for recycling will be transported through the factory by systems developed by NTO. The two companies have just signed a contract after the project was put out to tender in an EU tender.

The counting system will control the journey of Danish bottles and cans around the factory, where they are counted and sorted before being sent for recycling. The system includes control systems, process equipment, and various internal transport systems that automatically move containers and sacks of bottles and cans through the factory.
Experts in automation
NTO are experts in automation and have previously supplied solutions to Dansk Retursystem's factory in Høje Taastrup. Dansk Retursystem's CEO, Lars Krejberg Petersen, is delighted to have NTO as a partner for the factory in Fredericia. NTO won the tender by offering the best solution at the best price.

Major project in Fredericia
NTO is looking forward to providing the counting system for Dansk Retursystem's new factory.

NTO is part of Motus Nordic A/S, which consists of five different companies, including Klovborg Maskinfabrik Niels Burcharth . As subcontractors to NTO, both companies will supply equipment to the new bottle and can factory in Fredericia.
New factory with expansion possibilities
The new factory in Fredericia will bring together Dansk Retursystem's activities in western Denmark and move the company from two addresses in Løsning to one in Fredericia. A modern, high-tech factory is being built here with the possibility of expansion if the need arises in the future. At the same time, the factory supports Dansk Retursystem's goal of CO₂ neutrality by 2030, partly due to its good access to the railway, which is used to transport materials for recycling.
